Pierer Innovation
Pierer Innovation, the innovation lead within the Pierer Group and the two-wheelers world of KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas, places significant importance on research as a foundational element for shaping the company’s portfolio and driving future growth.
Understanding the future of mobility in emerging markets - with a focus on the 18-30-year-old demographic in 2035 - is critical to identifying opportunities for innovation and strategic development.
My role involved overseeing the concept and the art direction, ensuring that the complex data and insights were presented in a clear, engaging, and visually cohesive manner. The graphic design work was centered on making data and statistics visually usable while maintaining the consistency of the innovative brand language.
The research delves into key questions about the largest emerging markets in 2035, particularly in terms of population growth and motorcycle sales, while identifying mobility solutions that will resonate with young adults in these regions.
To effectively convey these insights, I proposed a report format with a large, expansive layout, designed to accommodate the rich, data-driven infographics and meticulously crafted visualizations. The report also features images generated with GenAI, and I took special care in maintaining photographic consistency throughout the project.
From the first idea of a booklet, the project evolved into a complete report.
The result is a comprehensive and visually striking report that makes intricate findings accessible and compelling. Through consistent visual style and thoughtful design, the report serves as a powerful tool for understanding the dynamic landscape of future mobility in emerging markets, providing actionable insights for stakeholders and decision-makers.
